Responsibilities
- Monitor security operations center (SOC) dashboards for threat detection
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Implement zero-trust security architectures for federal clients
- Develop incident response plans and lead incident investigations
- Create security documentation and compliance reports
- Stay current with evolving cyber threat landscape and countermeasures
Requirements
- 5+ years in cybersecurity operations
- CISSP, CEH, or equivalent certification
- Experience with SIEM tools and threat intelligence platforms
- Knowledge of NIST, FedRAMP, and CMMC frameworks
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance
Nice to Have
- Experience with SOAR platforms and automated response
- Cloud security certifications (AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security)
- Background in digital forensics
