Responsibilities

  • Monitor security operations center (SOC) dashboards for threat detection
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
  • Implement zero-trust security architectures for federal clients
  • Develop incident response plans and lead incident investigations
  • Create security documentation and compliance reports
  • Stay current with evolving cyber threat landscape and countermeasures

Requirements

  • 5+ years in cybersecurity operations
  • CISSP, CEH, or equivalent certification
  • Experience with SIEM tools and threat intelligence platforms
  • Knowledge of NIST, FedRAMP, and CMMC frameworks
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance

Nice to Have

  • Experience with SOAR platforms and automated response
  • Cloud security certifications (AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security)
  • Background in digital forensics
